Social Issue：Teenager Smoking

Good morning teacher ,and classmate. I am Aileen of 4D.Today I would like to give a presentation on the topic：Teenage Smoking. Do you know anything about this topic?I hope you can learn more about this after my speech.

To begin with ,i would like to talk about the reason of teenage smoking .first of all,the most of root is peer influence . teenagers want to gregarious with their friends,and maintain friendship,so they try to smoke for example Mary is a good example,when she were primary student,she hadn’t any friend on her school life ,when she grew up ,be a secondary school student ,she wanted to change this problem ,so she join with smoking of teenagers .beside the root is curiosity. Teenagers think this is socialization and adult also smoke ,so they imitate to smoke .last of all, the root is want to releasing tension . For example study pressure ,peer pressure ,and family pressure.

In fact,it brings negative impacts on their health, family relationship and study life. However, smoking is going to damage organ and some tissue, it will let organ increase the probability of cancer, and usually go to toilet. Moreover, smoking is going to make teenagers grumpy,usually dispute with family. Worse still, smoking is going to let teenagers sleepy ,will sleep on lesson, let they not be attention. what's more, it effect our society, it spreads the message the smoking is acceptable. There is nothing wrong about it. To sum up, smoking definitely brings more negative impact than good.

If everyone try to give up smoking , the problem will be solved. Prevention is better than cure. Hence, education is the most effective and universality solution .Youth smoking prevention should organize more talks and cessation service, about the negative effects of smoking . Without doubt, parents should maintain good relationship with them, should find time to chat with their children every week. Finally to put a stop to the problem, the government should adopt a zero-tolerance policy not smoking, for example before 20 years old, must not smoking ,when check out teenagers amercement are foul, it is 1000 dollar.

To conclude, there is a pressing need to look into the matter, the welfare of our teenagers is at stake. We must take immediate action. The parents, government and Young Smoking Prevention should join hand to make a difference. That's the end of my sharing. Thank you.
