After yesterday's family discussion at my mom's home, all feedbacks were negative.  It seemed that lending  money to my maid for loan settlement was too risky.  When we returned home, we, all 4 Law's family members, voted and we decided to lend money to our maid and let her have a new start.

Today, there is a black rainstorm signal hoisted.  I delayed my schedule to the office and had breakfast at home.  My maid talked to me and I also told her our decision to help.  I could not hold my tears when I told her that our kids also voted for her stay.   When I asked myself why I cried, it was probably because I believed we are good human being with love and trust. 

We have a kind heart to let the one we loved a chance to restart even at a such a high risk of being "betrayed".   Are we too stupid? Anyway, no matter the result will be, we have no regret. 

It's shock to me that my maid is a liar.  I treat her not bad, trust her and appreciate her contribution to the tidiness of my home.  Unfortunately, she is a liar.  She borrowed money from the finance company and now has difficulty to settle.  Should I trust her?  or fire her?  My feeling is strange.  I cannot believe she can tell so many lies.  Anyway, let me think about it.  I hate to play the game of identifying the liar.  Why don't we value our own integrity? 

 Today is my third time to join basketball match.  I feel very excited.  We are invited by S&S to have a friendly match with them.  My colleagues had given me many opportunities to get the scores and finally, I contributed 2 marks during the 10-minute extended session.

I really enjoyed the game.  Although I'm not a good basketball player, I do enjoy the team work and the moment when you lead the ball towards the goal.

Although I feel very exhausted after a few minutes' participation, I hope I can have chance to play next time.

 Today, we played table tennis in the sports centre of my company.  Although we only spent one hour for ball game and one hour for playing musical instrument, I really enjoyed them.  I hope we can play more ball games (like badminton or basketall) with my friends/relatives in the near future.

During these two days, I had good chances to practise my oral English and Putonghua.  I believe my oral English do improve to certain extent.  I will try to enhance it as much as I can so that my confidence will be strengthened.

My Putonghua is not bad because my Yantian colleague (native Putonghua speaker) also appreciates my fluency in Putonghua.  I'll keep on to practise more.
