Title: The Infinity Mirror

Group Member: Tse Man Fung

This work is orginally a black mirror. You can only see a yourself through this slide of mirror and you cannot see anything behind the glass. However, when you turn on the light, it is not a mirror anymore. You can see there is a bright infinity path in front of you. 

In our life, we may face difficulties and we do not know how to do in next step. We cannot find the way out because we are too self-centered or our field of view is too narrow, but if we try to open our eyes and brighten up the road ahead, we can see our future and we may know how to solve the problems in front of us.

Clay work with an object

Title: Flashlight

A battery is merged with the clay.

This clay work looks like a flashlight. It has a cover at the end, which is removeable. Its handle is hollow so that a battery can be put into to flashlight.

Nowadays, we use electricity to solve the problems in our daily life and we are rely on it. However, it is not almighty. It cannot fix anything. We still need to use our own power to solve some problems.

Eyes closed, create a shape using bare hands only. 

Title: Kink

The clay was rubbed into "noodle shape" and then it was bunched up into knots.
When I was thinking what to create, I originally had a very clear idea, but then I want to add a lot of things into the clay. Therefore, my mind became much more complex so that there are knot in my mind.

Exercise 2

Listen to music and create a shape or series of shaples that can represent the sound or a part of sound

I heard sounds of strings, noise and murmur. It makes the music mysterious and horrible.

I imagine that the music describes a man adventures in a fortress.
Therefore, I create a mystical tower. That man walk in this tower with fear. He try to conquer the challenges and find the unknown in this tower.

Title: Stone

This work can be placed on a concrete road.

In my childhood, my life is fully controlled by my parents. They arranged my time, my hobbies and my activities. My life was totally contributed by them. As I could not choose my only personal life, my appearance have no soul just like a kind of stone and my eyes are empty.
