Subject   Staff Health Program

According to the Bureau of Statistics, each year approximately 44% of deaths in Australia and New Zealand are caused by cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, smoking , obesity and inactivity.

In the interests of employee health. our company is providing all staff with the opportunity to participate in the Healthy Heart Analysis Program.

This program is designed to assess a person’s risk of developing heart disease. Each person will participate in a 20 minute counseling session in which all the risk factors of heart disease , such as those outlined below , will be assessed.

                             Age                Personal history        Stress

                             Weight           Family history          Cholesterol

                             Smoking         Blood pressure         Physical activity

A health management consultant will conduct these assessments on site. Participants are required neither to wear special clothing nor to fast prior to the assessment.

All results are confidential. Under no circumstances will individual results disclosed to the company.

Appointments are available from Tuesday 23 June to Friday 26 June inclusive.
