For those of you that are in HK, I think you would know this for sure (Or go to http://sunnseea.blogspot.com/2007/06/blog-post_06.html for detail);
For those that are not from HK or didn't know what's going on, well, basically some singer in HK thinks〈錢錢錢錢〉 (first video) plagiarizes one of Queen's old song (second video)
Pls go and listen to those two songs and say what you think. In my view, one should not criticize other if he/she herself is a copy cat . Plus, I seriously don't think it's copying from Queen's song
So I was talking to my labmate Mark today about some random things and he was like "bab you are smart"
Then I replied," That's not true, if I were smart I would have....."
I was going to say "I would have graduated long time ago" but I didn't, I just giggled.
My other labmate Danielle was sitting next to me and she said "you wouldn't have joined this lab." I died laughing after she said that, because it's so true. If I am smart enough I should have chosen some other easier labs. I am not being crabby here I just feel like it's so funny and want to share with you all.
So I was driving to work and I saw a deer running out the shrubs and slowly running across of the road (it was so slow that I thought about taking out my camera to shoot a pic of it..) Obviously I freaked out (as usual) and stopped and watched the deer walked by....
WOW this is the first time I watch a deer so closely..
Today I found this website that they randomly obtained ~30000 HK chinese names and tallied them up and found the most popular names.
Back when I was little, I didn't like my name at all (Not that I like it now, I just don't use it now) because I think it is too common and I feel like there are always multiple Wai Mans in my proximity. So.. there we go...
There are 57 Wai Mans in 30000 people
Are you able to find your name? For complete list of names, see http://input.foruto.com/compare/dl/hknames.htm
Continue to be very homesick, I guess I am extra homesick when I feel like I can't buy pretty clothes to wear??
I don't like to buy clothes here, the cutting doesn't fit me .
Hopefully my homesick will be gone when I am totally embedded in the rat works later in July.
For those of you who are from HK, you should've heard about Sammi's concert which took place last week(?). I've got an old youtube video to share with you:
