Hi, everybody, this is Bob here! Thank you for reading my blog.
Today, we all HC students attended the Fulbright Lecture Series in HG01. The topic is about "Living-Learning Programs". For local students like me, "living-learn programs" is very far away for us. In fact, I am very looking forward the "living-learn programs" in UM——The Residential colleges. But in my college life, I may not have the experience of it. Therefor, the exchange program period in next year not only be my first time study abroad program, but also it will be my first time live in groups.
Back to the lecture today, the speaker is Dr. Kay H. Smith, from College of Charleston. I think she is really professional in campus communities study. She didn't show the splendidness of residential program in her college, but she talked different style from ancient time to the present in the world. Dr. Kay explained how the style influenced our study behavior. The most interesting part was she ask us to design a living-learning community. I demanded cooking course must be in the community! :D
