There are three parts I want to share about the show:

Video:

In my major course, TV production, I was required to take two videos. Moreover, I had took three video for HC class. There are total five video that I had made in this semester. Therefore, I got a lot of video production skills during this time. Especially the period I was taking the talent show promotion video.

I do remember the first time the committee and I had a meeting, we talk about the concept of the show, they suggested “dream” is a key word for the whole show. That is why we promotion team decide to use the “dream” for the promotion concept. And this is the first I make video that no script but concept.

The talent show promotion video is talk about a girl fall asleep, and then she performed her talent in her dream. Actually, it was not a dream, it was really happened in her real life. The video means dream is not only a dream, but also it can comes true.

The video is popular in facebook, and it got many people attention. I am very glad that the video was very fit for our show theme: Dream a Dream. After finish the video, if my classmates wouldn't help me, the video can not be publish. Especially thanks for Josefina. I think she is the best performer I ever seen. She make a big effort in the video.

Dancing

This is my first time dance in campus. Actually, I never dance before. When Jennifer asked me to join the dancing team, I was quite surprised about that. At first, I was not willing to join the dancing team, but finally I changed my mind, I think this is the good challenge for me, and I wanted to try my best. At the beginning, we trained a lot of times every week, but I still not good at all because my body is not coordinated. However, Jennifer and other group members didn't mind my poor performance at all. On the contrary, they gave me a lot of suggestions about the dance show. Let me got the dancing step easily.

Control Room;

I devoted in many times in this part. I used to be the first one come to the STDM. The day of show rehearsal, it is a hard day for me, my role is cooperated with all teams, make sure their part run smoothly. This is a skillful job: voice, light, background music, etc. all the things I have to know and take care of every detail.

After the show, my the biggest experience is: one show is not for one people can handle, but it needs everybody make their effort. I think HC 2013 make it come true. The most important thing is, we know each other closely.

Workshop Team did a great job!

HC workshop is one of the events that year 1 students can learn more about HC. I think today both of class 2013 members show a great image for the freshmen!
