If you want learn English wall ,first you must love it ,and focus on it ,then you can learn from basics.
You must teach BASICS. The basics of language are not vocables, nor even vocables and grammar. IT is SOUNDS. Of course, sounds must be represented in writing. That's where letters come into the picturemilk fed.
Our ROman alphabet is a sort of phonetic transcription system. It was first conceived 5000 years ago when Egypt was a multilingual society. The first alphabet was not used widely, so a new one was invented a millenium or so later by PhoeniciansNokia Lumia.
What we are using as Roman letters are variants of letters that came down to us via the ancient Greeks. "ABC', or alphabet, derives from "alpha, beta, gamma, delta", etcbaby milk.
A Greek letter "alpha" floats longer in the air before our mind identifies it as a sound 'A'. When we say "A", we are uttering an extremely short sound called "vowel". This one might be a "A' as in "art" - in which case it is a monophtong; it could be an "EI" as in "ale", in which case it would be a diphtong (one symbol standing for two sounds combined together E and I)招牌製作.
In that kindy I used to tell kids "'A' as in 'apple'", but that was not entirely correct; "apple' is not pronounced the way "A" is pronounced in the English alphabet. In fact, there are at least 4 different pronuncaition variants for the vowel 'A': Art, abolish, all, apple. The same applies to the remaining 4 vowels天然護膚 .
This is why I often wonder why English majors do not learn to say "'M' as in McDonald's" or "'N' as in 'nose'". A word as an example to drop a hint as to how to pronounce it蚊咬止癢.
