“DIRTY HARRY”期のデリバリーも残すところ僅かとなりましたが
レザーアイテム2型の入荷です。
PIGS/BL-JKTはU.S. 60s〜70sのPOLICE MAN JKTをベースに
やや光沢のあるバッファローレザーを使用。
納得のいく革の表情を求め、サンプル段階から革の鞣しを何度も調整した自信作。
着込むうちにアタリ部分の光沢感が薄れ、自然なヤレ感が生まれます。
POLICE MAN JKTは軍の官給品であるFLIGHT JKT等とは違い
アメリカ各州、各地域の警察署にデザインが一任されていた為に
様々なディテール、色、スタイルが存在するので千差万別。
POLICE MAN JKTと判別できる唯一の判断基準は
ポリスバッジを装着するための2つのアイレットのみ。
相当奥の深い歴史あるモーターサイクルジャケットの一つと言えます。
そして、アイテム名が示すとおりFLIGHT JKTのB-7がモチーフの
B-7D/M-JKT。アラスカ等の極寒地区での使用を目的に開発されたものの
わずか1年という短命に終わったFLIGHT JKTです。
ムートンと言っても様々なランクがある中で、僕らが選択したのは
ラムに限りなく近い柔らかさを持つUKシープ。
重厚なビジュアルですが想像以上に軽く柔らかい
コストパフォーマンスの高いアイテムに仕上がりました。
同じレザーでも全く表情が異なる素材感のアイテム。

Comme Des Garcons has a strong line-up of products this season, especially made for the holidays. We have seen an Arne & Carlos collaboration knitwear collection, silver embossed wallets, Lyle & Scott knitwear, as well as the “Crystal Journey” t-shirts.
Here now a look at two pouches that the brand will be releasing soon. They come in black leather and feature “Dec 2008″ on the upper in Swarovski stones. The pouch comes in a medium and a small size.
The pouches will be available at Dover Street Market, as well as the Comme Des Garcons Pocket Stores in Paris. |

Bape x Isetan Special Items

A couple of weeks ago we reported about the Bape pop-up store that is opening inside the Isetan department store in Japan. For the occasion Bape has produced a number of limited edition items, that will only be available in the pop-up store. The store opens tomorrow and will stay open until December 2nd.
The series includes Panda-, Shark- and Tiger full zip hoodies, as well as a new Cow full zip hoodie, that also comes with a cow pattern on the front pockets. Furthermore they presents a series of overall seven t-shirts. In terms of cut-and-sew items, they offers a western shirt, technical snowboard jacket and a down vest. Last but not least a Milo plush key ring is also part of the capsule collection. A plaid theme runs through the entire collection.
