| 中老年人不適合節食減肥 |

誘發膽結石減肥者的低熱量和低脂肪膳食有使病人發生膽結石的危害。減肥者每天至少攝入1200千卡熱量，每天必須有一餐含有5-10克脂肪，以刺激膽囊完全排空，這樣可以防止膽結石的形成。
損害腦細胞一項新的研究課題顯示，節食減肥對大腦記憶功能細胞的危害甚大，會導致這些減肥者們愈來愈健忘。
骨質疏鬆更年期尤其是絕經後婦女，由於卵巢功能停止，雌激素生成大量減少，促使骨鈣大量丟失，容易引起骨質疏鬆症和骨折。脂肪細胞能將腎上腺皮質所提供的原材料經加工轉變成雌激素。所以體瘦或減肥過度婦女往往體內雌激素水平較低，容易引起骨質疏鬆症和骨折。
