Description:
Housing is a big problem for Hong Kong people nowadays. Public housing should be an effective policy to solve the housing problem, however, we find more and more problem of it. There are more and more "new immigrants" in Hong Kong, and many of them are come from China. What if these "new immigrants" can't find places to live in Hong Kong? Of course, they will go apply public rental housing that Hong Kong people need. As a result, more and more people contend houses with us because there are 150 people taking one way certificate from China coming to HK EVERYDAY! What can Hong Kong people do if they want a place to live? Maybe cage house like the last picture is a "good" choice for us. What a pity! So I change the Hong Kong Government webpage like this to satirize the unfortunate reality in HK.

#Assignment 2 --- Parkour As Art

Maybe to many of us, parkour is just a sport, but from my point of view, parkour is also an art, as people enjoy watching it and playing it. It can bring joy to us. Moreover, some shots of parkour are amazing and we can feel the tension from the pictures. It can bring the audiences nervous, exciting, and contented feelings, just like arts, to make audiences feel the same with the artist, the parkour player.
Moreover, we sometimes need creativity when we play parkour. For instance, we have to think that how can we jump over the obstacles beautifully and fluently. We need to decide what is the next movement in a very short time. It is quite a challenge for them, I think. And that's why I think parkour is really a kind of art.
#Assignment 3 --- Anxiety of Can't Sleep --Remediation of Insomnia by Lydia Davis

Description:
It is a short paragraph written by Lydia Davis. As the title is "Isomnia", I use a character who is opening his eyes to represent the one who can't sleep. Those red thing in the video are not really blood but they are the place that "aches". I used iMovie to edit the video, and also used Paint X Lite to draw the picture (it's ugly because I don't good at drawing I failed my Visual Arts in secondary school...) However, I want to have a new trial in this assignment, so I chose drawing in the video. For the sound effect, because when we can't sleep at night, we may hear our breath clearly, so I added some breathing sound effects in the video. And for the background music, I want to create an atmosphere of anxiety of cannot sleep, so I used the music Anxiety Madness Paranoia by Kevin Macleod to make the atmosphere nervous. By the way, I quite like this short paragraph. Mostly, we think that the cause of isomnia is the problem of ourselves, but in this paragraph, it gives us a new angle, saying that it is because the "heavy bed pressing up against me", it is so creative.
