Ms. Benziger, who has been with the company for five years, is currently Nike's vice president and general manager of Global Young Athletes, a segment the company said grew rapidly under her leadership. She was named to that post last July.

Carl Grebert, a 17-year Nike njfootwears.com veteran, will replace Ms. Benziger.

The athletic-apparel company unveiled a number of management moves earlier this month, shifting its executives among different geographies and categories. Among those, Craig Zanon, a 23-year veteran of the company, was named vice president and general manager of global men's training, while 15-year veteran Marc van Pappelendam shifted from the U.K. and Ireland to helm cheap nike trainers business in central and eastern Europe. Earlier this week, Nike added eBay inc. Chief Executive John Donahoe to its board of directors.
