This is a "TEA-TABLE-BOOK". It binds together photographs by BRUNO SUET: The writing and layout were done by Dominque T. Pasqualini; the original French edition was published in Paris, at 7 Place Saint-Sulpice, by Marval. The work is made up of three parts ¡V a book of images, a book of texts and this clasp ¡V that deal with water, trade, botany, color, fermentation, earth, taste, political economy and time. The photographs, previously unpublished, were taken over a period of nine years, in china, among the Tuaregs, in Great Britain, in Japan, in France and in Sikkim. There are no captions of comments on the views, and no frame except the hands that turn the pages, unfolding a ritual that takes place every day and which is none the less impossible to see: the sharing of a cup, a bowl or a mug of tea. The text is in detachable fragments and its course diverges as it enunciates the complete and accurate account of this same moment: The Time Of TEA.
