Please don't come to International Japanese Language Institute of Sapporo, 札幌國際日本語學院, JLI. Most students hate this school and want to change school but they hold your money until you fly back home to receive only a small part of your money back. They charged me more than 14,000 yen activity fee but don't really provide any activities while other schools provide many Japanese cultural events. Recently, they held a party but students had to bring their own drink!! The school is very small but some classes have 23 students while another school nearby has less than 10 students each class. They also charge you facilitiy fee while providing no facility except the desk and chairs...Further, if you tell them what they did is against the contract, they would say they have just made up a new rule and their attitude is like “you are just a foreigner, what can you do in Japan?” I am already a "water fish"... If you have to come, don’t pay the full year tuition, just pay for 3 months to make sure if you really like it.
