"Talitha Koum"

這首曲特別為此次福傳之旅而作，

靈感來自瑪爾谷福音（谷5：21-23，40-42）

一個會堂長，名叫雅依洛，

他懇求耶穌到他家去救活他十二歲的女兒。

耶穌帶著小女孩的父母，及同他在一起的人，

進了小女孩所在的地方。他拿起小女孩的手，

對她說：「Talitha Koum」，

意思是「女孩子，我命你起來！」

那女孩就立即起來行走。

Talitha（女孩） Koum（起來）是兩個阿拉美語

（阿拉美語是耶穌時代巴勒斯坦的通用語言）

瑪爾谷福音保留耶穌原用的這兩個字，

沒有將之譯成希臘文。

這首曲建構於這兩個關鍵字，

「孩子，起來吧！」耶穌正邀請我們在生活中站起來，

向喜樂的生活、完美的生命進發。
