There is an expression called "Don't ask me," and ever if someone use the expression, it can have several meanings. One of them is that he or she entirely has no concern of what you are talking about; another is that he or she thinks you are very annoying and troublesome, and wants you to disappear off the face of the earth; and when some face-loving people would use it to hide that he or she has not the faintest idea of what you are talking about without telling lies; and someone may use the expression to mean that he or she cannot care less.

I cannot tell you whether he adressed him or her as "My lord" or "My lady" or even "Majesty", but the last one is the most inprobable one, as most of the people would say "Your Majesty" instead, and he did not kneel to him or her, for sure. "I think that not all quizes have to do with many questionees, and if even most of them are, I cannot care less. Our quiz here has only to do with just one questionee; and if you have any question, don't ask me, at least right now."
"Thank you, I think I understood what you mean; and I think I'm ready."
