|Car Engine Fluid Maintenance
You may know how to fill your car gas tank, but can you regularly service your car without spending money at a car mechanic? Do you only check the oil when your engine starts making loud noises, or do you know when to properly change your oil so that you are not in a costly situation? What other car engine fluids need your attention? Here is a brief summary of the significance of the 3 car engine fluids you should maintain regularly to ensure your vehicle's longevity.
1. Engine Oil
The oil in your car creates a thin, lubricated barrier between the engine's fast-moving parts. On one hand, if your engine is well-oiled, then it will run smoothly and quietly. If your engine has no oil at all however, it will seize up very quickly and most likely never move again!
When your car engine oil is brand new, its lubricating properties are at their peak. Over time, however, the oil grows progressively dirtier and begins to lose these lubricating properties. Most mechanics recommend an oil change every 3000-5000 miles. Aim to change your oil every 4000 miles unless directed differently by your car manual or dealer. Many newer cars require oil changes less often than older cars.
Your car also has a small oil filter through which the oil runs during your vehicle's normal operation. The filter keeps the oil fresh longer, removing any dirt or debris that may enter the fluid. It does no good to run clean, fresh oil through an old, dirty filter, so your filter should always be changed at the same time as your engine oil! As standard practice, any mechanic or dealer who performs an oil change should replace the filter at the same time.
2. Coolant (Antifreeze)
The coolant serves 3 important functions for your car engine: It prevents freezing, prevents overheating, and helps lubricate certain parts.
In colder climates where temperatures regularly drop below freezing Autel Maxilink ML629, antifreeze prevents the engine water from freezing. If the water in your engine freezes, it typically causes major and costly engine damage! Whereas water alone freezes at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, properly mixed antifreeze can protect a car engine down to -40 degrees Fahrenheit. Conversely, in extreme temperatures the coolant raises the boiling point of water to prevent the engine from overheating Autel MK908. Antifreeze is also a vital lubricant for parts of the car engine that do not have access to the oil.
Your antifreeze does not need a change nearly as often as your engine oil does - most mechanics recommend antifreeze should be replaced between 50,000-150,000 miles. However, older cars need an antifreeze change more often than newer cars. Check with your vehicle dealer to find the best time to have your antifreeze checked in your particular vehicle.
3. Transmission fluid
The transmission fluid works very similarly to your engine oil, forming a protective barrier for fast-moving metal parts. Most dealers recommend a transmission fluid change in automatic transmission vehicles every 50,000-100,000 miles. Because each make and model is different, consult your vehicle manual to find out how often your transmission fluid needs to be changed.
These 3 fluids are vital for the life of your engine: so check and change them regularly! If you are unsure when these fluids need to be changed or whether they have been changed, consult your local dealer or mechanic. If your vehicle has any other problems, a certified mechanic or dealer will be able to assess your vehicle and recommend repairs. Just as you need to maintain your physical body with regular exercise, healthy eating and brushing your teeth, you also need to take proper care of your car to ensure safety and extend its life.

Car Detailing Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon - Abrasive Based Polishing Compounds
Polishes are Abrasive Based - Fact
Most Polishes take off a bit of Car Paint - Fact
All Polishes take off a bit of Car Paint - Opinion? And it is Untrue
Abrasives based Polishes which are cheap and local contain abrasive granules on the one hand scrape and instigate the car paint when used with a high powered polishing machines and on the other just strip a layer of paint off the car thus making the surface shiny as new paint is exposed.
Specialized Polishes which contain something called diminishing abrasive granules contain oils and when the car paint is polished using them on one hand the granules slowly diminish into nothing while being polished and buffed thus not harming the car paint unnecessarily and on the other hand the oils massage the car paint surface for an even and glossy finish.
A simpler way to understand this would be to run a car without engine oil, will it run, it will, will it run smoothly, not for long. Diminishing granules and oils do what engine oil does for an engine, they lubricate and polish the car paint with harming it one bit. The same is not true for majority of polishes available in the Indian car care Market.
When should one get a Car Polished
In an environment like Delhi, Noida and Gurgaon, it should be done atleast twice in a year to keep the car looking spanking new, as far as a car is considered, exterior beauty is far more important, nobody cares what the insides of a car look like if the exteriors paint an uninviting picture Autel ml629. Pun Intended Autel MaxiCOM MK908P.
Whenever as a consumer we want to get car polishing done, we should ask the polisher what compound he is using and whether he even knows how safe or unsafe it is for the car paint, if he says that he has been using it for ages and it is good but he cannot answer basic questions related to a bit of science behind it just zip up your wallets and drive away, it is better to be safe than sorry.
The lure of a low price should not entice us to play havoc with our precious car's looks, imagine for a sum less than 5000 Indian rupees we would be willing participants in a bet involving the well being and beauty of our vehicles which cost a large multiple of the cost of polishing.
Choose very carefully, make sure the person knows a bit about the process, not just the sales part but also the technical part, after all once a polishing mistake takes place the only remedy is a repainting job which apart from being very expensive also inconveniences the car owner.

|Car Dealers - The Importance of Parking
There are lots of things that are important in life. There is politics, and all the associated confusion and party arguments that go on in that arena. There is of course huge issues like human rights, and treatment of prisoners or inhabitants or colleagues. There is hunger, and disaster and all sorts of terrible things. Yet there are also little things that go on in our everyday life that seem to be just as important to us. Sure, they shouldn't be, but these things can make our life a little more difficult each and every day, and as such they end up being such a disproportionately big issue that we simply have to get it sorted above all else. Such is the fickle and illogical nature of humans - which explains why in many cities parking is such an issue.
When you buy your car, the car dealer is unlikely to say to you - "Oh, I'd go for a smaller model if I were you". Or "Forget the car, you won't be able to park a bicycle where you live". Their job is to sell cars, and they do a very good job of it. Plus, you ought to know exactly how much room you are likely to have, and whether you need to think about renting a garage or even moving house! But as it is many people buy a brand new car without thinking about the practical issues of parking in increasingly busy towns and cities, where parking is limited and quite a commodity.
Parking is a really important thing if you have to get a car. You might need your car in order to reach your work place, or you may have a loved one that you have to visit regularly. Sure, for many things people can and do use public transport such as trains and buses - but these can't always get you where you need to go. I work in an area that isn't on or near any bus or train links Autel MK908P, and I don't drive - so I have to get a lift in with colleagues.
If you do need to drive, you are probably expecting to park on the street - unless you have the luxury of off-street parking or a garage Autel MaxiCOM MK808TS. The problem is that with more and more houses and flats having multiple cars, the streets simply can't hold all the cars they have. This is nothing to do with the councils planning - there just isn't on street capacity for everyone, especially what with commuters and visitors and more. If this is the case then you may have to get a parking permit, which you pay for, or rent a garage.
There are generally lots of garages around to rent, as long as you look in places like your local classifieds and property pages. Or alternatively you can get a season ticket to a multi-storey - although they are of course inevitably expensive. Whatever you choose, parking is an important issue to think about - and an important issue that councils are going to have to address.

|Car Cover Protection Maintains Resale Value
How you look after your car says a lot about you; a well-maintained and detailed car is sure to help you get all the looks from turned heads that your ego desires, but when it comes time to trade in your ride, then you will understand how much a car cover will return to your pocket.
A car cover is the best form of protection for your vehicle that money can buy - even more effective than keeping your car in a garage all the time! A car cover will maintain the value of your investment through water protection, providing a barrier against harmful UV radiation from the sun, allowing air to circulate properly and forming a physical, robust barrier against the hard knocks life will bring to your pride and joy.
A good quality car cover will cost you less than $200, and many will cost less than $100, but for every dime you invest in a car cover you are going to reap the benefits from having a great looking car, reduced maintenance and detailing effort as well as the most financially valuable prize - maintaining your car's residual value which will return you several thousands of dollars.
A car cover will protect the vehicle from the ravages of rust due to water, and especially if you live in areas where the roads are salted during cold spells or along the coastal regions where the sea brings salt-laden moisture.
Even if you do not live in particularly sunny climes, the harmful UV radiation in the sun will still cause fading to your paintjob and to the interior of the vehicle. A good quality car cover will provide a very high standard of protection from the sun's UV rays and maintain the glossy appearance of your car for years.
Modern materials used to manufacture car covers are lightweight and exceptionally robust. They afford a very high degree of physical protection to your car body and will protect it from the effect of bird droppings and tree sap which falls upon the car - both of these compounds are highly acidic and will eat the paintwork away and cause unsightly discoloration Autel MK908, even in a mild case. In addition, there is the normal wear and tear from a wide range of sources, including falling branches, a bouncing ball kicked by one of the children, a pet jumping on the hood or any other number of causes.
The whole point is that by minimizing the impact of the environment on your vehicle, you will save time and cost in cleaning and detailing the vehicle, enjoy a better looking vehicle indefinitely and most of all, when you come to sell it or trade the car in for a better one, you will have saved thousands of dollars in residual value.
It is the residual value where the biggest, visible saving is to be found - the difference between an average model for the year and one in outstanding condition will vary depending on the make Autel MP808 price, year and model, however you can expect it to be several thousand dollars for the average family car.

|Car Care Tips to Save You Gas!
We all know that having a regularly serviced and tuned car leads to savings on gas with enhanced fuel economy but what many fail to realize is they can help save on gas and money by performing a few, simple and easy car care steps themselves.
Tighten Up the Gas Cap
Every time we fill up at the pump we slap the gas cap back on and give it a turn usually until we hear the "click" and then forget about it. Make sure you have the cap on firmly and tightly so it as airtight as you can make it without threading the plastic cap itself. The reason is simple, gas evaporates and even a slight failure to provide an airtight seal with your gas cap will result in wastage for no value whatsoever.
Screw the cap on firmly and tightly and check it every day.
Don't Top Off the Tank
Many people do this when they are at the gas pump - the nozzle clicks off but they insist on putting in the last few drops of gas to get the tank literally full to the brim.
This is a complete waste of gas as most of it will slop over the brim, running down the paintwork (helping cause discoloration and damage) as well as over your hands which is dangerous and no good for them.
When the gas pump nozzle clicks off, you are safely full - put the gas nozzle back in its holder and do not top off your tank.
Use Lower Octane Fuel
Every gas station has higher octane fuels offering better engine and car performance or less wear and tear on the engine.
This is a myth - ignore these claims and fill up with the cheaper lower octane fuels; unless you have a very high performance vehicle you will never experience any material difference in performance or engine wear and for the average motorist this is a waste of money.
Park in the Shade
Many drivers do this automatically because they have children or pets or quite simply do not like coming back to a vehicle that feels like a sauna, but there is another good reason for making sure you park your vehicle under cover Autel MK808.
The hotter the car is the faster the gas in your fuel tank will evaporate!
Always park in shade and keep the vehicle cooler which will lead to more comfort for you and your passengers as well as less strain on your wallet.
Use Your Garage
Parking the car in the garage helps keep the vehicle cool in summer and warm in winter. This helps reduce your use of the gas-chugging air conditioner or defroster and results in less gas consumption as well as enhanced security for your vehicle and less likelihood of dings and dents caused by the neighborhood kids playing ball nearby.
As you can see, these are all very simple and easy to do tips - there is no extra effort or money involved and the savings are immediate - star them today!
