My current job duties include screening CV of job applicants, and therefore, I can see a lot of funny application letters and CVs.  Here, I'd like to share some with you:

(1) There was a boy applying for a senior clerical position.  He stated in his covering letter that "I'm definitely sure that I will be a valuable staff to your company".  It's OK, but when I reviewed his CV, all his previous jobs were sales related without any experience about the job so ...

(2) I received an application from a girl applying for the post of Coordinator.  When I browsed her CV - OMG - she is an Assistant Manager.  Then when I further checked her current salary ... it's only 11K.  See~ That was why I could not find a job with my salary at that time ... I was only a Supervisor but my salary was ... Now I know why ...

There are many cases that over-qualified candidates apply for junior posts, and candidates with limited experience are looking for senior posts.  It's funny ... I have seen one applicant applying for a junior post for 28K per month~  Oh - My - God~
