I'm a Catholic and my holy name is Joan - and that's why I watched this movie on ATV World tonight.  But I have to say, this is a ridiculous movie.

From the history for France (well, not the official one), Joan was a Catholic and a patriotic "fighter" during the war with Britain.  But in the movie, she is a lunatic (sorry let me use this word because she is ridiculously "faithful" to God) that she said everything from her mouth the message of God - does it come from her own mind or comes from heaven?  Then, she is a warrior - she urges everybody to go back to the battlefield, to fight, and ultimately die. 

I prefer the old one that I got the VCD from Taiwan years ago for just a few HK$.  That movie told me Joan of Arc is a patriot, not a crazy woman.

Please, no more movie about saints - this will weaken my diminishing faith to God~
