Benefits of Study Abroad

Did you often hear that your cousins or even your friend go to study abroad?It is quite common for secondary school students to study overseas in Hong Kong.Because students study in foreign parts can get more advantages than those study in their own communities.So I am in opposition to the proposition that 'it is better for secondary school students to remain in their own communities rather than to live and study abroad.' There are my reasons below.

Studying abroad can learn a new language.With the growing global market,speaking languages and being able to communicate with other cultures is more important for students than ever.Many modern careers in international business require a second or even third and fourth language.If students want to find a ideal job,studying overseas is essential.Because studying in own communities never learn other language such as French,German etc.Students have one language is outdated.

Abroad studying can also rise to the challenge.Students in the foreign countries should adapt to the new environment.There is no assistance to help theif livelihood and do all the things by themselves.It can make them more unbending and impregnable.Besides,most of the students that go abroad return exhilarated by the experience.They bring fresh perspectives and are more confident about living in today's world.Studying abroad can be thought of as a lifetime gift and it is something we hope everyone can take advantage of.

Another related reason of study abroad is expanding students' cultural awareness.Studying in another country offers many rare opportunities to students,including language immersion and the chance to experience a country's vibrant history,music and culture.Students will not find in textbooks to view a historical structure firsthand.In fact,some students say they learn as much as in own communities.On the other hand,they not only recognize other countries' cultures,but also advertise our own culture to foreign people.Therefore,Hong Kong's culture will be covered over the world.

At last but not least,studying overseas have fun.Some of the countries have their cultural activities.For example,there are wrestling competition and American football in USA.If students feel bored,they can see the fresh sports and make them feel interested.

To conclude,we can see that students who study abroad can get more benefits.These advantages cannot find in our own communities.It is better for secondary school students to live and study abroad rather than to remain in their own communities.
