It has been so long since my previous post, and (really) lots have happened in the past two months.
In a new school environment, there is so much to learn and get used to, and one can't help but look back and miss the old workplace. Not because the old workplace is better or whatsoever, but because of the people there whom I can make random remarks with, and the familiar environment. I am the kind who is resistant to changes (haha, I remember how I much I disliked going to a JC and to university last time). Just let me go through this emotional turbulence, and I will settle down in my new school.
Of course the best part about being in my new school is that, I can see almost all of my ex-students and even teach some of them. So far, I have enjoyed my relationship with most of my students. I really like some guys for being so enthusiastic about math.
Have been stressed with work lately, to the extent that I feel suffocated. Too much to cope at one go. I hope I will survive the rest of the semester which will get even busier with the upcoming math competition for secondary schools and lectures. First time giving a lecture, I hope I don't make a fool of myself.
So much so about the draining work.
I really want to spend more time on my wedding and new house. If I really want things to proceed in an orderly manner, I think I need to devote more time on planning. Take for instance home deco. The furniture, the lights, the built-in bookshelves and so on. I want to take a look at a few shops, and look for the ideal, rather than randomly popping by a shop and grab what I need. I feel bad about not doing much in this aspect, because instead of going through forums for recommendations, I was goggling for teaching materials.
So was browsing through some forums and came across some nice pictures of newly revamped units:

I like the dining lights.

The renovated living room seems cool right. The webmaster posted pictures of the whole renovation progress. From broken walls and flying dust to the final stage...
ok, I'll continue looking through these pages to look for renovation ideas. [when I completed most of my school work, I fell sick] |
