第一次上网订购演唱会门票，比想象中困难许多，不如订购戏票来的方便。 再加上不知大银幕的位置，所以也不知道同个分区的位子，哪些比较好。

张信哲的歌曲陪伴着我们度过童年，以及少年时期。情歌王子这称呼，并非浪得虚名。歧视新人不断涌现，他在歌坛的地位，始终无人取代。

很期待他在八月的演唱会。 不过我还是喜欢香港的四大天王多一点。

The past few days had been relaxing. Went back to NY to return my laptop and staff pass on Monday. My secondment with the school has officially ended. Two years (not counting the ten weeks of practicum), I am amazed at how things have changed. It was a very steep learning curve, but things could have been much worse if not for certain nice colleagues. I will miss them. Top on the list will be my mentor. Was hunting for a photo of him, and I realize, I have never taken any photo with him.

Went to my new school to put my files and stationaries. I'm not very confident of staying there for long, so I'll just leave the toys at home. Maybe I'll get to start a new toy collection there? Haha, I think jc kiddos are not so generous with teachers' day presents.

Gonna rest more in the next few days. Induction starts next week and there is staff meeting on Friday.

Visited the Boarding School for the last time on the same day. My friend is having this "warehouse sale" in his room.  He has this great collection of math books, probably better than the collection in kinokuniya (btw, kinokuiya is having 20% discount for members). It is like living in the library.

Side note, I realized I forgot to renew my challenger membership and lost more than 2500 points. I think it is a must to issue membership cards with expiry date clearly stated. I missed the expiry date for my kimage card as well. Luckily the hairdresser allowed me to renew. If I have to apply a new one, it'll cost double the renewal price. Oh well, I must make it a habit to check my cards every month. Must be more careful with money matters.

My first time at a French Restaurant, and amusingly, it is located along Little India. Ambience wise, not bad. Although the place is not air-conditioned, we didn't find it too warm. Food and price, reasonable. I like the Tiramisu desert in particular. Chicken Leg for main course is nice too, except that the portion is little too small. Service wise, quite bad. Just google "The French Stall" and you'll see lots of whining guys in the different forums. We didn't have a bad experience with the waiters. We just find it slightly disturbing when they said they only have tap water when we asked for plain water.

Certainly worth a try if you want to try something different. It is around 5 minutes walk from Farrer Park MRT (maybe 7-8 minutes walk from Boon Keng MRT?). Seriously, I didn't expect an authentic French Restaurant near my house.

下午到了Marina Square一趟，一看照片就知道我到那里的目的。 

以为赶得上看表演，岂知星期一“休假”，表演暂停。   
那里正举行哆啦A梦四十周年欢庆活动，原以为会很壮观。只看到一个摊子售卖漫画，真失望。
后来发现一张表格，只要回答几道关于哆啦A梦的问题，就能向工作人员索取一个文件夹。对我来说，真是易如反掌。虽然填年龄时有点不好意思，但我又怎么能放弃印有哆啦A梦的文件夹呢？

这个Sabbatical和去年的奥数班迥然不同，大多时候都在做手工。对零艺术细胞的
我来说，简直有点受罪。

忙碌的最后三周终于过去，结果就是大病一场。即使烧到38.2度，还是得到学校干完四小时的sabbatical，下午接见家长。所有任务都完成了，总算松一口气。

小提琴演奏会、开放日、sabbatical，不同的挑战，各有各的难处。多么周详的计划，也难免有些漏洞，只不过大家不以为意罢了。起初一窍不通，到头来的成果，往往还算不错。不是因为我比别人聪明，是我比别人用工、用心。之前观察了别人怎么做，隔年自己做，八成模仿，两成改进。表面上一帆风顺，但我知道，这一路走来是多么的艰辛。

遇到别人有意刁难，有时还得笑脸迎人。我就试过躲在厕所哭了十分钟，然后若无其事走出来。这是毕生难忘的经历。磨练、成长，毕竟都是要付出代价的。步出厕所那一刻，我知道，离开是正确的。到了新的学校，日子未必比现在好过，但起码，这一刻我还能抱有希望。当刁难你的人将要成为你的上司，离开的那种感觉，就像是成功逃亡。

即使逃亡，我也难掩不舍的心情。毕竟，我在这里建立了不少友谊，和多数的同事相处融洽。

 可惜，我最敬爱的师傅出外公干，未能在场。

终于买了新的电话，旧的已经被我摧残到，连电话公司也不要回收。

考虑了很久，但最后选择的，却不在之前考虑的范围内。由于之前有留意不同电话的功能，所以决定时也不算一时冲动。毕竟，电话得耐上两年。IPhone的价格过于昂贵，它独特的功能和apps对我来说也排不上用场。再加上每个月必须多付一倍的月费，唉，还是瞄一下人家的就好。

最后买了Nokia E71。还不错，价钱也合理。

因为是qwerty keyboard，起初不太习惯。也不晓得如何使用wifi功能。可见我对手机的运作，还是处于原始阶段。

Mcdonald Happy Meal once again is offering Doraemon collectibles. This time is a Space theme and not soft toys.

A colleague gave me her space rat. Got the space rocket when I went Mac with wq on Friday night.

The pig lucky charm was released last month, and I didn't know about it until this week. Duh. I thought they would advertise in the newspaper.

Luckily Miss Pot managed to get it for me at the Tampines branch. Thank you so much Potty!
