Christina Fontenot jordan 11 Gamma Blue 2013

One of things that immediately struck me about Christina is that she is beautiful. America's definition of beauty doesn't apply to 99 percent of its general population and for me isn't a scale in which to define beauty, especially when it comes to Black women. Christina, although she's not skinny as a bone, is to me, what true beauty is. It's being comfortable in whatever body you're in and keeping yourself up of which she does a wonderful job of.

In addition to her day to day life, this year Christina upped the anti and took on the role Gamma Blue 11s 2013 as volunteer coordinator for Black Pride. She's devoted countless hours of her time to making sure that people who want to volunteer with Pride have a point person.

She's fun to be around and gets along with everyone. She never has a negative thing to say about anyone or anything. In other words, she's way more diplomatic than Gamma Blue 11s yours truly. And one more thing, she's dependable. When she says she's going to do something, she does it.

As I said in the beginning, Christina has a leader inside of her. I have no doubt that in the coming years you will be seeing and hearing a lot more from her on various issues affecting the Black same gender loving community. For these reasons and so many more, Christina Fontenot is a Lesbian that I Love. I do, however, love Bad Girls the women's prison show on Logo!

Do you prefer fem or butch women and why?

I prefer butch or more middle of the road women. I cant really explain it, it is something about their swagger, the way they carry themselves that really catches my eye.

I know a smile isn't considered a body part, but that has to be my favorite! There is nothing better than a woman with a beautiful bright white smile.

As Black a woman do jordan 11 Gamma Blue you prefer nappy or straight hair and why?

I really don't have a preference. I love well kept hair, whether it is loc' d or pressed.

What in your opinion are the biggest issues facing Black lesbians and your solutions if any?

Based on recent experiences, I will have to say Gamma Blue 11s for sale self acceptance. I see so many women who are not comfortable with themselves, be it their sexuality, weight or skin tone. I believe change in this area is a personal journey that one must embark on; however, more positive images of women of all shades and sizes would definitely help!
