Happy Birthday, Pata san.
Yesterday was the first day of volunteer. We started at 7:30 to get the bus. The public bus scared me in the morning. People were too crowed in the bus, which seemed dangerous. For me, I even couldn’t breath because of the air inside. It’s also easily to be affected by H1N1. Next time, I should wear a mask. The public bus situation tells life in Guangzhou for most people who aren’t local is quite hard.
The whole morning we just sat in the company and hang out for a while. Thanks for the man who in charge of the project, we wasted the whole morning.
We went to the airport in the afternoon. Waiting about 1 hour we met the team we have to fetch. Luckily, they wore the same clothes (uniform?) which we can recognized. I don’t know how to communicate with strangers in Chinese let alone English. So I kept quiet and waited to answer the questions they asked. But it was very funny. When they asked one question, all of us had to worked together to solve it. Toni (I always want to call you Tracy), Thank you very much. I won’t accept this job without you. Though exhausted, I thought it worthy.
Having class this morning, I found the teacher had some same idea about policy with me. It helped me insist to quit the fake game called seleciton. But I still read my own book in the class casue what the teacher said about the text was still so boring.
