Writing an e mail to a friend

Dear Mike,

       Happy new year !What do you do?I'm got your e mail.You were not wrote to me for so long.I knew that you are doing a project about Chinese New Year is a great festival in Hong Kong.there are so mary food and activities.

      Our new Year usually falls in January or February.It is different every year.Before New Year,We ciean and decorate.Webelive that it can get the  bad luck out and good luck will come.We also prepare the new year candy tray.When the family numers came,they can eat candies.On New year's Eve,We will buy daffodis,tangerines,peach blossoms.

      We have a lot of activities.We visit relatives and friend.Greet people with good wishes,watch lion dances and watch fireworks display  at the harbour front.My favourite activities is getting red packets because there is money inside the red packerts.

     During Chinese new year, Wehave mary different food such as new year cakes,taro cakes and deep fried dumplings.Turnip cakes is the food i like most.It is very nice.
