昨晚發覺特區護照還有五個月便到期，因為6月底想和曦曦去台灣旅遊，為免趕不及換領，決定今日5時半起身，6時出門往灣仔入境署總部辦理。拖著懶洋洋的身軀過海，七時多到達，已有廿多人在排隊等候攞籌，但係派籌時間係8時半我們只好在隊伍中等多個半鐘。到8時，已有個百人在輪候，8時半準時讓我們入內取籌及安坐，到9時半就輪到我們辦証，不消十五分鐘便可離開了。享用完早茶便到旅行社詢問我們擬參加的旅行團，得知好些旅行社都不開辦六月底的旅行團，因為未放暑期仍是淡季。又是拖著疲倦的身軀返工，幸好下午大部份時間都在帶領中學生參觀，不然坐在辦公室，定會打瞌睡。
Discovered that the HKSAR passport was due to expire in Nov 2011. Because we intended to have a Taiwan trip with Hei Hei in end June. So, to avoid the mail delay, we woke up at 5:30 am today and went to the Immigration office in Wanchai to apply the extension of the passport in person. It is the most fastest way. When arrived at 7:00 pm, there were already more than 20 persons queue up. Noted that the staff will arrange to let us enter the office at 8:30 am. So we still have to wait one and a half hours. I sit down on floor due to the tireness. At 8:30 am, we were arranged to sit down and wait in the waiting area of the immigration office. About 9:45 am , we can left there after the procedures. Having a chinese tea and went to travel agencies afterwards, to check whether our target tour is going on to be held. Noted that due to low season (before the school summer vacation), there are less tours for our selection.
In the afternnon, I have to lead and guide a team of secondary school students for lab visits. This gave me chance to walk out, otherwise I would feel asleep on the work place. |
