The Idea and Exploits of the Great Comrade Kim Jong Il Are Immortal 

All the service personnel and people of the DPRK are now filled with strong yearning and humble reverence for the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il.

They are paying the highest tribute to him who performed undying feats for the prosperity of the country and the human cause of independence, full of firm determination to hold him in high esteem for ever and surely accomplish the cause of building a thriving country under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Today the DPRK has solid political and military basis for successfully advancing the revolutionary cause of Juche generation after generation and strong foundations for the eternal prosperity of the country and the nation.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stands in the van of the struggle to carry forward the revolutionary cause of Juche to completion.

He is an outstanding thinker and theoretician and a peerlessly brilliant commander of Songun who guides the revolution and construction along the road to victory with the idea and leading method of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il.

Setting it as his lifelong mission to successfully inherit and accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche generation after generation, he, as the closest comrade and most faithful comrade-in-arms of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il, has always stood at the forefront of the revolution and construction together with him.

His idea is just the idea and intention of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il, and his way of guidance is the most wise method whereby to advance the revolution and construction true to the intention of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il. He has resolutely smashed the machinations of the imperialist reactionaries with the revolutionary faith, will and pluck of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il. Together with the great Comrade Kim Jong Il, he has visited every place where there are soldiers of the Korean People’s Army to develop the KPA into the most powerful military ranks, the strong revolutionary army of Mt. Paektu defending the first line of the revolution. Thanks to the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un who has ensured that the greatest efforts were directed to building up the defence capabilities of the country, the sovereignty of the socialist country and the safety of its people have been reliably defended and the DPRK is more strikingly displaying its dignity and might as an invincible military power.

He has made devoted efforts to realize the great Comrade Kim Jong Il’s noble ideal of socialism, thus bringing about eye-opening realities on this land.

While giving field guidance for the improvement of the people’s standard of living in all seasons, he has led the service personnel and people of the DPRK to concentrate all their efforts on translating the lofty intention of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il into practice.

In particular, he inspired the whole Party, service personnel and people to implement the spirit of the Conference of the Workers’ Party of Korea held last year, further cementing the single-hearted unity, the mainstay of the Korean revolution, and inspiring great innovations and rapid progress on all fronts of socialist construction.

In those days the service personnel and people of the DPRK have cherished a steadfast faith that the revolutionary cause of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il will be immortal as long as they are guided by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is boundlessly faithful to his idea and cause.

The leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un serves as the decisive guarantee for successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche down through generations, the cause which the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung started and the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il led victoriously.

The service personnel and people of the DPRK will hold the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il in high esteem for ever, and staunchly defend his immortal revolutionary exploits and glorify them for all ages under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The sacred revolutionary history and imperishable revolutionary exploits of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il will shine for ever along with the history of the country under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
