I am still making a decent amount just buying rare gold players for 600-650 whenever there are packs released and players flood the market. People are too lazy too change the maxBIN, so for me, i have had success selling players by simply setting a maxBIN that people find reasonable compared to 5k.
Most people are too lazy to bid, and for many rare silvers, there may be only 5 on the market at any one time, all with max BINs, so as soon as I put up a new one with a slightly lower BIN he gets sold. I have spent about 100k on prem silver packs in the last few days and made about 200k out of it.
Trading is always possible. The big problem is the coins made per hour of trading has gone done dramatically. Too much effort for too small profits in my opinion.

You know, now that you mention it, it doesn't seem too far fetched that EA will eliminate trading altogether in the future. If you're EA, you don't want people to be able to earn coins by trading because then it becomes possible to buy packs with coins and never spend a dollar on FIFA points.
I bet they stop giving match Fifa 16 coins soon, or have them only to be used for an EA catalog of players, and then award you a pack a day or some fraction of a pack for every game played. The transfer market really is dumb from EA's point of view though.
Real trading requires thought leadership. You're just complaining instead of thinking of new strategies. Tells me you did the same before the bands.
