Every one in HK are in unhappy mood and upset these few days because of the Philippines incident occured Monday past. We watched the deadbodies were transferred from Philippines to HK last night. All of the HK people were very sad. I am not encouraging enmity, just feeling surprised and amazing. Yesterday was the day of expressing condolence over the death of those HK people. Every government departments will fly a flag at half-mast at day time. In the evening, someone heard the voice of “pak, pak, pak….”. The voice liked coming from guns.Oh! No! It was unexpectedly some people was playing fireworks to celebrate something. The fireworks lasted 3-4 minutes. Why? Wasn’t this is the day of expressing condolence, why they did such thing? I just think that this should not be happened during these sadness days.
Eventhough the incident has happened or not, I don’t have any plan to visit Philippines. Reasons are: 1. The weather is too hot and Mr. Wong doesn’t like the place. 2. No special visiting places there I am interested because I don’t like beach and sunshine. 3. Philippines is a poor country thus there has a lot of crimes. Then, will never be there in the future.
Although the mood was not well, it was better after met with my nephew, Ting-hei.
An extremely terrible day!! Today, I believed that all people in the world are shocked when watching the Philippine SWAT's stipud method to resuce the hostage. All hostages are HK people. I was so short-tempered, angry and nervous when we are waiting for the action. Those hostages in the coach were abducted by a former Philippine policeman who carried guns since 10:30 am today in front of a park of Manila. The gunman raised his request to the government to resume his duty after he was fired. The talk with both the policy dept and the government was totally down. In the evening, the gunman shot the hostages and the SWAT were not able to get on the coach to prevent the case occurred. It was so anger and and full of indignations. The SWAT was extremely stipud and lack of training on these cases. At last 8 people including the tour leader were died. I was so sad and pain. It was unbelieveable and unacceptable to lose the life during the original happy journey. Most of the public opinion claimed that the Philippine government has to take up all responsibilities on this blooding incident in addition of the poor strategy and poor military equipment.
