今日打風不成，原以為整天天氣都不會很差，可是到了放工時候，不斷下雨，更掛上黑色暴雨警告。我和一些同事只好留在辦公室等候，希望雨勢稍微才離開。幸好遇到好心教授接載我們到火車站，可免卻徒步澗水下山之苦。後來知道香港多處地方水浸及山洪暴漲，回家必經的火炭路更因為水浸而車輛不能駛過而封路兩句鐘。頓時四圍變成澤國，人人都不免要澗水過路，鞋褲盡濕，狼狽不堪。

Today, the typhoon signal no.3 has been dismissed in the afternoon. However, it carried trillion and trillion raining throughout the HK. The royal observatory hang the raining signal to "Black", meant there will be huge rainining.  I and colleagues stayed at office to wait until the raining is smaller.  Fortunately, a professor was so kind to give us a ride to train station to avoid we walked down among the flood.  After the black rain signal raised, there are many places full of flood and cars were suspended on roads and traffic accidents were occurred.  The main road to back my home was suspended for more than 2 hours.  Within one hour, most of the areas in New Territories changing to water land. All getting wet on trousers and shoes and to be in a sore straits.

今天中午和黃超一家飲茶，之後去了旅行社報名參加下月出發的台中四天遊。4時許，曦曦在青衣去看反斗奇兵3。吃了一個早的晚飯，回到曦曦家同然然玩，現在五個多月大的他，懂得對我們的逗玩作出相應的反應，十分有趣。

This morning, we have chinese tea with Wong Wing-yu and her parents. After that, we went to EGL for enrolment of Taiwan trip which will be starting up next month.  We enrolled a 4-day trip together with Edward Tsui's family.  Late afternoon, we watched the Toy Story 3 with Hei hei.  At about 6:00 pm, we have had a pizza dinner and back home to play with Yin yin. 5-months old Yin was so cute to re-act our playing and always laughing.

今天是兩年一度由理工大學主辦的八大羽毛球賽。 早上九時多八大共百多人齊集迵邵逸夫體育館，準備九時半開賽。不過賽事因球員熱身而延至10時多才正式開始。我們中大與港大、理大、及教育學院在同一小組作循環賽，結果勝了港大及教院而獲得小組第二名出線。時間已是下午5時了，才開始淘汰賽，首先是鄰組的城大，雖然的等不到我隊打敗城大就離開了，他們是非常有鬥心，最後與理大爭奪冠軍。理大今年為一雪前恥，招募了多個生力軍，所以中大不敵下取了亞軍。
