You meanies...
Well anyway,
this is a movie that I saw sometimes ago.
Victim to Coen brothers in Oscar this year.
And I wrote...
I can hardly express how much I like this film.
I watched because of Keira Knightley.
The background, British upper class, WWII,
did't interest me a bit.
So at first I thought I wouldn't like this.
And yeah the story started up kinda slow too.
The first thing I noticed was how in part one of the story
events were presented in two POV's, kinda fancy.
The second thing was I actually found the little Briony very amazing.
Her eyes are like piercing.
Reminds me of Natalie Portman in Leon.
And all of sudden the plot moved to part two,
in it the very long shot of Dunkirk Evacuation deeply impressed me.
Just imagine how hard it was shot and how easily some part fails.
The third part of the story brought it up to a new level except that
I don't know just how possibly would Briony grow up looking like that.
How Briony accompanied the dying soldier piled up her guilt
made a good transition to the climax scene,
where Robbie angrily confronted Briony.
And then, the last part blown my head away.
If watching this movie is like a trip walking up a mountain trail,
the plot twist does really compare to the scenery at the peak.
I think I'll always remember this movie.
