到了札幌第二天。在Nikko酒店的35樓自助早餐，坐在270度景觀的角落，一邊吃著, 一邊欣賞札幌市的風景.。Check-out 後去Toyota店取車，是在香港上網訂的WISH型號。店員很內心指導導航系統用法，確是十分簡易明白，還替我們輸入小樽的路線。不消十五分鐘，便可駕走了。
40分鐘後到了小樽運河，十年前到訪的時候是寒冬。運河兩邊是充滿厚厚積雪，白濛濛的一幅畫般。今次的感覺是因為沒有了白雪，河景是有著深深的顏色，截然不同。在小樽拉麵午餐後，下午便驅車往登別。開車前發生一段驚險的事情，在用導航搜索登別溫泉酒店時，系統忽然失靈，嘗試很多次花了十多分鐘都不能成功。因言語不通，路人也幫不上忙，唯有向油站加油員詢問，希望可幫忙解決，可是他都不懂系統，指示我們到Toyota的租車分店。由於指示不大清淅，我們就週圍兜圈子，終於找到該間分店。店員再教一次系統的運用，原來在用輸入地區時，是須要拉下手掣的，我們才恍然大悟。跟著個半鐘後，便很順利到了登別。
因為登別熊牧場在4:30 pm關門，所以未到酒店前，首先去了該處。牧場在山上，要乘坐吊車到達。牧場飼養了有幾隻龐大的棕熊，我們只須花100日元買一包飼料餵食，笨重的身驅，爭食的場面很攪笑。之後到了溫泉區的盡頭，登別地獄谷，那裡是火山帶，充滿琉璜味。
到了滝乃家溫泉館，車未停定，便有幾個酒店職員熱忱出來迎接，這是日本服務一貫態度。全日式傳統旅館，進入門口後須要脫掉鞋子，在館內任何地方都不穿鞋的。在館內有間敞大的休憩房，可稍事休息及享用Welcome 茶及榚點。今日晚餐是懷石料理，步入餐館的私人房，桌上已放了很多道菜，還有紙火鍋。職員還陸續端上多道菜和甜品，共有十多道菜的菜單。吃了兩句鐘，已有幾十隻碗碟在桌上。
飯後休息一會去泡湯，雖然房間內有私人風呂，這還是第一次在日本泡湯，試一試露天加寒天下是什麼感覺。
The 2nd day morning, buffet breakfast at 35/F of the JR Nikko hotel. The city view was very beautiful. After that, we went to Toyota to get the rent car, WISH. The staff was so kind to teach us the GPS and set the mapcode the us to Otaru, a city with 30-minutes travel time distance. The famous visiting place is Otaru river. This was the 2nd time I visit here. However, I felt the scene of the river of winter, full of snow is more beautiful than this time. After this visit, we start our longer journey to Nobeitsu. When we set the mapcode, we found the problem in GPS. After 20 minutes, we decide to ask for help from the petrol station. However, that man couldn't understand what we ask and not know English. Fortunately, we are instructed to find the Toyota rent--a-car shop. The car shop staff told us we have to lock the hand brake of the car to set the mapcode, otherwise it doesn't work. Ooh! We can start the way by delaying 30 minutes.
After arriving, Nobeitsu, we visit the bear park. It needed to take cable car to the park. The huge bears were very funny when we feed them with 100yen/pack food. Then, went to see the volcanoes. Arrived the hot-spring hotel and 5:30 pm. The hotel staff were very politely to serve us welcome tea and cakes, and we looked like kings and queens. We took our dinner in a private room of the restaurant. There are not crowdy so we couldn't meet other visitors oftenly. The dinner with 15 courses are very fruitful. After the dinner, we went to the hot-spring to enjoy.
