昨天打完三號風球大風大雨後，今日是出奇地出現晴朗的天空的星期天，早上往荃灣參加了一個港大主辦的鼻咽癌講座，講題主要是關於此癌的診斷及治療新趨向。原來大多數發病原因是不明的，只有少數是因遺傳、食太多鹹魚或感染EB病毒而引起的，所以醫生很多時都未能解答我們患者的疑團。從講座知道鼻咽癌也可以經手術掀起臉皮開刀切除腫瘤的，以及新的電療技術－強度調控放射治療(IMRT)。因為此癌症的腫瘤對(IMRT)是非常敏感，可以成功殲滅癌腫瘤，我就是被安排以此電療技術治療的，也可將副作用減至最低。所以我是不用過份擔心的。講座完結比原本時間稍早，不到１２時可和曦曦午膳。

After the typhoon and heavy raining yesterday, today is curiously shinny brightly Sunday and we went to Tsuen Wan City Hall to attend a talk on NPC.  The talk was organized by HKU Medical Faculty. The main theme is the diagnosis and the new cureness directions of the NPC.  Actually, a survey was showed that most of the NPC was not come from heredity, eating much preserved food or infect the EB disease. That's why doctors always could not explain to patients the reasons they suffer the cancer.  According to the talk, we noted that operations on face to take off the tumour could be the treatment to cure the NPC.  Also, a new technology on radiotherahy treatment, IMRT is the best treatment to kill the tumours because NPC tomours are very sensitive to this technology.  I was the patient of the IMRT treatment. So I should not be so worry.  There was less side effects suffered from this treatment.  The talk ended earlier than the scheduled time but we learned more from it.  We have had an early lunch with Hei hei then.

好快又覆診了。距離最後一次(一月)化療已三個月，這次是因應完成化療後的第一次例行覆診。雖然等了個半小時，但很高興見到甘醫生，他替我照了鼻鏡，很詳細地探問我的身體近況。他亦很詳盡解釋了我的情況--EB病毒水平較平常稍為高少許，但並不表示癌症會復發，而且現在身體各處都沒有問題及病症。聽後感到十分矛盾，不過甘醫生說得對，未發生的事情及假設的都是不應去想。建議我定期接受掃瞄檢查及血液測試，密切監察身體狀況及變化。

I went to PWHospital this morning for medical check.  This is the 1st check-up after the last chemotheraphy in January.  We waited over 1 and half hours and be arranged to meet Dr. Kam. Haven't met him since June last year.  He is so patiently to talk with me for my status.  Also, he examined my nose with scope carefully. He informed me that my blood test showing my EB disease was a little higher than normal, but not indicate that the cancer will come back.  I was so contradictory.   Dr. Kam is right. We should not worry about what  has not been happened and any supposition.  However, he advised me to take the body scan and blood test regulary, at least once a year to intently control any variation.

今天剛同曦曦去完澳門回來，此兩天之行主要是逗留在威尼斯人涵渡假村酒店。昨天到達的時候，人流明顯比較之前復活節假期減少很多，Check-in都不是花太多時間，因打掃需時，未可進入房間，時間都是花在因為職員不是那麼專業吧了。

昨天下午我們到了漁人瑪頭午膳及閒逛。天氣是出奇的晴朗，晒得曦曦滿面通紅及汗流浹背，最好玩的倒是幫工人餵飼幾百條的錦鋰。晚飯於很有名的沙利文萄國餐廳。回到酒店，房間很大和很豪華，有大床之外更有大廳，洗手間也很巨大。因為房與廳是用了樓梯來分隔，曦曦高興地上上落落不停來來回回，不亦樂乎。有機會到澳門的話，不妨下榻此酒店。昨晚終於有機會同曦曦一同"交交豬"了，可是只睡了不過兩小時，他已從被窩中起來，鑽到床尾，為避免著涼，於是將他從床尾搬回床頭的時候，就弄醒他了。他醒後不斷哭叫找媽媽，我們也只好硬著頭皮致電給他爸媽“交還”曦曦了。

今天的行程是留在酒店內吃自助早餐、坐貢多拉船，幾好玩，遊船河時船夫會唱意大利文的歌曲，歷時十分鐘。如果不是套票已包括費用，我想大概也不會花錢坐船。在這個有百多間店舖的運河商場閒逛，是要持著地圖，不然是很容易迷路的。在Food court午飯後，曦曦不敵睡魔的呼喚，我們就趁這時輪流到賭場一逛。賭場也是用“大”字來形容，幾百張賭桌都是圍著賭客，相信這處是整間酒店最多人聚集的地方吧。

I visit Macao's Venetian with Hei hei's family yesterday and today. When we arrived yesterday, we found  there was much less crowdy than that of Easter holiday (last time we went there). We spent quite some time to check-in, but we have not been arranged to get a room because the staff's working ability are so slow and un-professional.

We went to Fish Pier in the afternoon after loading down the luggage at the hotel's counter.  The sky was shinny brightly. Hei hei got wet at all.  We have had the chance to feed the "Kam Lee" fishes where there are more than 300 hundred in numbers.  We have dinner at Solmar, a famous Portugal restaurant.  After back to hotel, we go to our room at 21/F. The room was so 'large' with dining room and bedroom separated by stairs.  Hei hei was so happy to upstairs and downstairs. It is highly recommended to stay in this hotel if visit to Macau.  We have the chance to sleep with Hei yesterday night. He slept in our room for two hours. When he moved to the end of the bed (but not wake up), to let him sleeping well, we tried to move back him to the pillow. At last, he woke up and cried to find his mother.  We phoned his parenet powerless and 'return' hei hei to them.

Next day, we have the buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant where hundreds of people having meals together. After that, we take the gondola boat trip inside the canal shopping arcade. It's quite interesting as the boat driver sang the songs during the trip.   We need to accord the road map to avoid missing the directions when walking along the shopping arcade because there were more than one hundred shops along 3 canals. After the lunch at food court, hei slept. We (4 adults) two by two, went to the casino. We can only say 'huge' to describe the casino and found that this is the place where most of the people accumulated.
