古人用「迎送生涯」嚟形容妓女嘅一生，今日當我同母親大人去覆診時忽然覺得，公立醫院嘅醫生亦不外如是。

妓女嘅工作，係迎接同送走一個又一個嘅嫖客 - 如果生意好嘅話；醫生亦都要迎接同送走一個又一個嘅人，不過係病人，而且喺公立醫院，生意一定好 - 仲係非常、極之好嗰隻。但係妓女同醫生兩者嘅地位就差天共地。

放假無聊又無嘢做，最好就係「煲碟」。

其實都唔係好多，但我覺得套套都係好戲，就不妨同你哋分享一吓：

烽火孽緣 (Beyond Borders) - Angelina Jolie & Clive Owen - 講一個已婚女子在援助貧困國家時與一個醫生所發展出的一段孽緣。

觸不到的戀人 (Il Mare) - 全知賢 & 李政宰 - 「情流戀屋」嘅原裝版本。雖然令我同樣感動，不過我都係鍾意Keanu Reeves同Sandra Bullock多啲。

高斯福大宅謀殺案 (Gosford Park) - Maggie Smith (Professor Minerva McGonagall in "Harry Potter"), Clive Owen ("Sin City"), etc - 根本唔係乜嘢偵探懸疑片，佢只係揭露上流社會一啲人嘅外強中乾同醜陋面孔。一部非常英國嘅電影。

鬼馬電腦追女仔 (Electric Dreams) - 一部我細細個睇過嘅電影。隻DVD係我喺e-bay搵返嚟。故事係講一個因意外而變得懂人性嘅電腦，愛上女主角因而同男主角爭女仔。好過癮~

你的生命，我的決定 (If these walls could talk II) - Michelle Williams ("Brokeback Mountain"), Ellen Degeneres (著名Talk Show主持人), Sharon Stone ("Basic Instinct"), etc - 一套包括三個故事，分別講女同性戀嘅電影。當中有不為家人、朋友接受，亦有不畏閒言。如果唔用有色眼鏡去睇呢3個故事，佢哋一定會令你感動•

除咗煲碟，就係瞓，一個唔productive但relax嘅假期。唔知係咪因為我已經感覺死亡，唔駛諗其他嘢，所以覺得relax???

蠢一次可以原諒，再蠢一次就抵死。

寄語各位:  屋企人都唔係個個對你好，特別係親生父母。見過新馬仔嗰家人，應該知道世上根本無無不是嘅父母，喺你身邊最近嘅人，往往會插你一刀，而且係致命一刀，就好似我咁，一刀即死。

今日，正式宣佈Michelle死亡，兇手係佢嘅父母。

Not a good Casual Friday - actually I have been on casual wear to work since July.  Most important, it's my last working day in the Wanchai office.

Asia Pacific Regional Office - a term of historic in the 3-Leaves Company.  The Wanchai office is somewhere I spent 7 years - with all the laughters and tears in this office, seeing people come and go. 

人去樓空

This is particularly sad when you see the rooms of the people are now all empty.  Memories flow in my mind - years ago when we came to see the empty office that the company first rented, then the renovation, we moved in in Jan 2000.  Each of the manager rooms being filled by people.  With all those happiness and sadness in those rooms, it flew to Jul 2006 when the company announced dismissing the regional office, seeing people left and then managers room became unoccupied, then empty - with NOTHING.

Today, Michelle signs off in the Wanchai office.  3-Leaves Company Asia Pacific Regional Office becomes history - in 3-Leaves Company, and the lives of people who have worked here.

So long, farewell.

Received a photo of my colleague in LA and her boyfriend, and noted a tatoo of Chinese characters on her arm.

男性不信

She told me that it's "Don't trust man" but it's grammatically wrong - but very few "gwai lo" knows.  We all know this sentense is not a complete one:  "Man / Male doesn't believe ...", but I think those foreigners just don't care.  Chinese characters on their bodies are just cool~

Another colleague of mine also has a "牛" on her leg.  What do we call it in English?  Cow?  Ox? My colleague said, it's BULL.  See~  It's the difference between different languages.

Finally the end of the trip.  Went to office as usual, final meeting with the peple, and most important - placed my order with Amazon.  The order will be ship to Susana and then re-forward to me.  Cool~

Lunch with Roxane in an American Italian food.  Yummy soup, Lagsana and Tiramisu.  But best of all, we rode on Roxane's BMW convertable.  Wow~  and it's open top ... W ha ha ...

After lunch I really had nothing to do, then I said goodbye to the guys and left office for the mall.  I spend 2 hours in Barnes & Noble.  Felt great to walk in a big & quiet book shop.  Then returned to hotel, watched TV, had dinner (Cup Noodle - Yeah~), shower then left for airport at 9pm.

I always say US Government is illusional.  Baggages have to be checked with x-ray, then the airport staff will bring it to the check-in counter - THAT YOU CANNOT TOUCH THE CHECKED BAGGAGE ANY MORE.  It took me about an hour from the time I arrived airport until I could start lining up in the counter.  Gosh~  Kill me please~

When everything's done, 10:30pm already (actually it took me 15 minutes taxi from hotel to airport).  then I had to wait until I could board my flight at 1am. 

Time really flies (especially when I flied in the sky) and it's 7:30am on Sunday when I arrived.  Airport express, taxi and then I am home~

Ok~  I'm too tired to type in Chinese / Cantonese so I better get back to a language I'm comfortable with ... typing.

Today is quite a good day - talk to my new boss, talk to the other girls about my pending issues, mingling with them, have meeting in the afternoon & conference call stuff, then dinner - a nice one. 

Let me describe my dishes - grilled scallop as starter and sole as main dish.  I really could not finish my main course as I had a sip of my drink - Kalua with cream and then my heart beat like drum.  Then when the main course came, I could only finish the sole but not the rice - I was too full already.

Oh~  When Paul asked how long I had been with the company, I told him it's my anniversay today (HK time now) and he proposed a toast.  I was so happy not because I can survive in this company for 7 years but a BIG man thought it worth celebrating.  I was so happy about this.

Then, this little drunk Michelle went back to hotel, watching Ugly Betty and typing this blog thing.

Talking about "Ugly Betty", I could finally confirmed that the badge thing in the drama is actually a reflection of my company.  It's so cute ...

今日都幾OK，因為至少又有啲得著。朝早如常睇e-mail，下晝同Stacey同Roxane傾工事，都幾productive。

不過個肚就唔係好妥。一早食咗琴日買嘅三文治，但由於太大份，食完就知死 - 飽到無倫，下晝都無食嘢。放工同阿Clive去行咗一陣書店，就去食「海鮮」 - 呢度啲人對「海鮮」嘅定義係住喺海入面嘅嘢 - 雪藏都算。諗吓咁包飽點食嘢呀？但係我又有食，所以依家好鬼飽~!

咖啡 - 呢樣嘢我喺香港死都品會飲嘅。但喺美國office，我就會飲，而且仲一日幾杯。佢哋唔係乜嘢咁特別，我通常都係飲Frenchi Vanilla同Haselnet，所以其實有啲似熱朱古力。

可能我真係開始對份工認真。相對於以前嘅「熱愛」，依家只係比心機做。我諗兩者嘅差別在於有無放個心落去 - 以前嘅「熱愛」就好像戀人熱戀咁瞓晒身，戀愛(返工)係開心嘅，所以你會全心全意對你嘅愛人(公司)。依家就哀莫大於心死，既然唔可以離婚(辭職)，就唯有麻木自己，做囉~如果唔認真做，我真係諗唔到我點樣可以繼續留喺度。

所以就喺呢個喺美國嘅機會，好似衛生巾咁盡量吸，有乜問題都唔怕醜咁問。

食飯大個天，所以今日我回復正常時間食lunch，而且仲係同Compliance啲人一齊食。以為唔食肉就唔會「釣魚」，點知只係湯同沙律都可以釣魚釣死我。下晝同阿婆開會差啲死咁滯... 唉~  喺美國嘅開公時間我真係好難適應。

放公就返酒店 - 呢啲就係我喺美國開工嘅悶炳日子。今日可以唔駛食room service因為發現到公司canteen有三文治賣，就買返酒店，先食個muffin，夜少少再食杯麵。

我好卦住香港啲friend同嘢食呀...

救命呀~  我今朝唔知醒呀~ 我竟然8點3先知醒，而我約咗公司啲人8點半開始office tour。死未？咁大個人好少瞓過鐘，但就竟然喺美國返總公司先嚟遲起身，不過我發揮我嘅小宇宙，喺15分鐘就可以出門口。好在行10-15分鐘就到公司，唔係唔知點算~！

公司新building好正。雖然只有4層，但勝在全部都係公司地方。每層都有唔同顏色，2樓係綠色、3樓係橙色，而4樓即係Legal果層就係我最鍾意嘅sky blue。而地下就有一個cafe，其中最正嘅係有免費shake smoothie供應。我諗我0聽日都未必會食早餐返工 - 有免費早餐供應嘛 ...

整日嘅過程都好順利亦好productive，解決咗一啲問題亦有好多progress。由於我大部份時間都一個人做嘢，lunch嘅時候就一個人走去cafe食。為免下晝「釣魚」，只係飲一碗菜湯同一片麵包，點知睡魔依然急call。幸好下晝有兩個meeting，唔係都唔知點死~

5點阿婆一走我就走人 - 天開始黑啦嘛，一個女仔行返酒店好危險0架~ 返到酒店間god damn kiosk竟然已經收工，唯有食room service啦。我今晚嘅dinner 係「NY Strip Steak」，附有沙律同好多伴碟菜。不過我叫medium，佢哋整到至少7成熟。始終，香港嘅嘢食係全世界最好嘅！
