Chinese old sayings are full of wisdom. We all say 柳暗花明又一村 - and yesterday, I found my 又一村.

Then, after my discussion with HR, I'll stay until I can find a new job, but not later than end of September 06. During this time, I"ll take my 2 weeks' leave. During then, I can think about my future.
So see, I was notified that I was laid off, then HO offered to keep me. I turned down the offer, made myself prepared for leaving the company and then HO requested me to stay longer. Now, I can still think about whether to stay or leave when I can find a new job.

Everybody has his / her own burden - their parents and / or their children. Mine is my parents.
My parents are both ill - long term ones. Some people may think that I'm so unlucky - yes, I feel so sometime. It's so unfair that why the others can do whatever they want but I can't because of them. But think it to the bright side - I'm so lucky that whenever there is storm outside, there is still somebody at home waiting for me - to shelter me.
When we are getting older, the time we can spend with my parents is getting short - because of work, our personal life, as well as their journey in their lives. So, enjoy the time with your parents - we never know when they will leave us. |
