Why I wake up so early?  Because I slept late last night (or better say this morning).  I enjoyed the good match between Germany and Argentina.

The first half is a dull game but the second half was exciting.  I think they realized that time was running out and they had to kill the other team.  Sorry that I didn't pay much attention to the Argentina team because I always have prejudice against them, but for Germany team, I found something.

Ballack - the "super star" who has got all the attention of the Germany team since the beginning as he was unable to play the previous games due to his leg injury.  But in the game when he could, he did not do a good job.  I think he is what we call "名過其實"?

Klose - the very first impress I got was that the way he ran on the field.  But when he scored the goal, you know he is really something.  Very tall guy and quite a cute looking, and most important, a very good player.

Klinsmann - he is indeed a good coach bringing the team a step closer to the championship.  He has been so calm during the entire match, only showing exciting faces once in a while.  Oh~  I still love him~

Bravo Germany team.  The championship is just round the corner.  Go get it~

Just now watched abc Evening News on Pearl and heard that some politicians are against gay adoption in the reason that they want the childres to have "better family education".  What the fuck is their reason?

Obviously it is the people who have homophobia thinking gay is an infacted disease so against gay adoption.  But have they ever thought that those childred can lead a new life in love, rather than sitting idle in the orphange waiting to be "chosen"?  People said gay is something against the moral standard, but have they ever think abandoning a living life is also against the moral standard?  If they children can start their lives again in a new family where there is love, what's wrong?

They made me think of some politicians who object for objection or simply ... "I'm loving it"?!

The movie will be on TVB Pearl this Sunday night.  Suddenly, I'm curious whether it will appear in Chinese soundtrack or in original English soundtrack.

You know when it's a pure musical where there is not too many lines, it's OK because they all appear in the form of singing.  But imagine when Christine speaks to Raul:

姬絲汀:  努爾~ 唔好呀 ...   (Christine:  Raul, no~)

And in a scene when "Diva" speaks:  "He (Raul) loves me~  He loves me~"  How would you translate "love"?  喜歡?  鍾意?  愛? 

See what will happen on Sunday and if TVB Pearl shows the movie in Chinese soundtrack, PLEASE DON'T LAUGH ... otherwise you will laugh until your belly blast~

I called the lunch we had today as "The Last Lunch" because most of management team members will be back tomorrow, and the quietness of the office will be gone.  I do cherish these quiet days because I can do whatever I want & can.  But, happy time is over now.

Another thing why it's not so happy because there are 2 more staff resigning - our receptionist and the HR Manager.  I think they are the 2 good people in HR & Admin - and as we always know, good people die very fast so they are leaving.

I hope I can be the next - that means I can find a new job very soon.  Fingers crossed~

Watched quite a lot of documentary lately and one of them shocked (well, not that shock) me most:  The Dark Side of Porn.

There are 4 episodes in the documenatry, each of which features a different subject: alarm to the porn business because an actor was found being HIV positive, how & why 2 women enter the porn business, the actors / actresses who have acted in an epic porn movie "Debbie Does Dellas" and then the dead of the woman who has the biggest breast in the world (53J~).

The episode impresses me most is the one featuring 2 "clean" women entering the business.  One is an Indian Muslim girl who enters the business because "she wants to buy a house".  Fine~  But for the other woman, she gave up her high pay job in BP Newcastle.  Strange?  She said she wanted to try something new but finally she could not take the life of being a porn star (with girl-girl / anal sex) then she set up her own porn website ... OMG~ Shock ...

And in the episode about "Debbie Does Dellas", the producers said many girls entering business do have strong religious background and they can clearly distinguish that.  Even stranger shock ... maybe they want to be Mary Madelene???

Ha~  In the documentary, it also tells that which is the pron producing company that the actors / actresses MUST use condom.  Is it what we called 道亦有道???

It's a Saturday -supposed to be a day to relax.  But not here at my home - we are refurbishing the bathroom.

So you can imagine it's dusty, noisy, together with the high temperature outsdie, you can imagine who irritating I felt.  Most of all, the worker worked in the bathroom that I could not go P.  So see, what a Saturday I had.

Then, the work was not finished by the end of today so the worker asked us not to wet the drainage otherwise all work today would be wasted.  OK~  34 degrees during the day and stayed in a dusty environmnet the whole day, I could not take it any more but go to Wanchai California for my shower - correct, I went to Wanchai for shower.  See, it's always something unexpected when you made a decision.

Lunch with Beth in TST this afternoon (i.e. I went all the way from Wanchai to TST, although only 2 MTR stations, but under the bright sun ...).  Nothing special with the dishes, but the conversation we had.

We told one another the frustration we have in work and she also showed me her lovely puppy - so cute~  I wish one day I can have my own dog again.  I still cannot forget how cruel I was to abandon "Piggy" (that would be at least the 2nd time she got abandoned because I picked her up in the mountain).

Hee hee ... I've told her my intension to leave the company and asked her to let me know if any of her ex-colleagues wanted to employ new staff.  Oh~  she is the one who introduced me to this company as my ex-boss is her ex-colleague and Beth has quite many ex-colleagues in high position.

Look God cares about me this time to get a new job very soon.  Amen~

It's my first time earning money with my "translation expertise".  Yesterday Bryan suddenly offered me a chance to earn extra money by translating articles for another magazine that he works for.  Good chance to put "Practice makes PERFECT (i.e. money)". 

I know that would not be any big money, but it means a lot to me.  It's my first time earning money from this "side interest".  Very happy indeed.

Have no idea about how to spend it - maybe a few packs of frozen dim sum from Park'n Shop?!
