My first time watching this series drama on Pearl.  Really uneasy.  The drama mentions how woman, especially young, are kidnapped, then raped, and forced to prostitute, and it details them.  When you see how all those happen, it's very difficult to keep your dinner in your stomach.

I think the American have very strong prejudice again Russian & Vietnamese.  The episode tonight is about Russian girls prostituting in America, because they want to be famous and earn a lot of money (especially the young ones).  It also says American being kidnapped in Vietnam during their travel - because they are innocent and - attractive to man with certain "interest". 

We all know the rate of raping in the States is rocket high (on an average 1 case per minute~!!!) and so is the rate of murder.  If they want to reflect the truth in the States, why don't they tell us something about this? Hypocratic American~

Everyday, I read a lot and listen to many things, especially in the morning when I travel to work and listen to the songs with my MP3 player.  As I'm listening to the songs, I visualize it at the same time.

This morning when I was listening to "Loving You" of Minnie Riperton, I felt so sweet.  "Loving you, it's easy cause you're beautiful.  Making love with you, it's all I wanna do ..." The vision was so pinky:  Early in the morning, a half naked young woman slowly opens her eyes on the bed, looking out to the windown which were decorate with lace curtain.  Soft breeze blowing in, flying the curtain and the golden beam sneaking into the room in order not to wake the beautiful couple.  It fails because the beaitufl lady is already awake.  Then slowly, the half naken man sleeps besides her also opens his eyes, seeing his beloved lying next to him, he smiles and gives her a sweet good morning kiss ...

Wow~  You see.  A song in a few minutes can give me a whole picture of a story.  I'm so imaginative.  This gives me a good start of the day.  So lucky that I was not listening to "Miss you finally", "That's why (you go away)" which may ruin my day.  But to be frank, I do love these songs as well ~

I always take cooking as my favorite hobby as I can cook for my family for a good meal.  But I found it meaningless to night.

Today's Mother's Day and I prepared a dinner of 8 dishes for my family.  There was a bitch who did not show her appreciation - NOT AT ALL.  She showed black face to us during the meal and left the table as soon as she finished her bowl of rice.  What the fuck?  I didnt't fucked with her and I was the one who do all the kitchen work for the dinner?  What did she want?

I was and am really pissed off (so I cannot type in Chinese) and I will NEVER cook for her again.  NEVER - EVER~!

It was really a great gathering with my 2 wise friends last night in TST East - we talked about things very academic - movies (translation of sub-titles) and my volunteer job.  We talked a lot about "House", "Desperate Housewives" etc and I found the new season of DH is really good.  I rushed home for it last night after our dinner.

When we were walking along the harbour promenade, I said something that I think it's very wise (with my intelligence): 

I want a lot of money instead of a man.  A man cannot stop me dying, but with money, I can have a man to help me live longer.

What we usually do after dinner was walk.  As our normal practice, we walked from TST East to Harbour City, and the final destination was always "Page One" (I'm so glad that I have some friends who always go to book store with me).  We found a lot of interesting books - but Vicky has many of them so this saved me a lot of money =).  I found another book by the University of Singapore about Cantonese Slang.  Very funny and I'll buy it later.

All in all, the dinner last night was another great one - low budget and full of fun. 

Tonight I had dinner in 好時沙爹 (尖沙咀好時中心) with my 2 wise & dear friends.  Actually this little restaurant is not anything big and grand, but simply cozy and the food is tasty, and most important, the price is reasonable.

Guess what, 3 girls eating 4 dishes cost us only $195:

• 炒蘿蔔糕
• 咖哩牛腩
• 兩個「靚仔」(飯 - 1 個油飯、1 個白飯)

Highly recommend - not only because the price is reasonable and the food is tasty, the restaurants are so nice.  And the latest promotion is $10 for a cup of Haagen-daz ice-cream.  Good, huh?!

Girls do love tests - so do I.  This morning I have another test and here is the result:

There was a living example just happened after my shower.  When I wanted to cleanse my face after shower, I found that I was running out of cleansing foam.  慳妹Michelle kept squeezing the tube in a hope to squeeze one more mm of the foam to cleanse my greasy face - but of course I failed because I have been doing this for about a week everyday after my shower ...

I will be on business trip again so hopefully I can get a few tubes back - as Boots in Thailand is much cheaper than in HK ... 又一血淋淋的慳妹血淚史 ...

Today when I left office for home, I went into the elevator in the office building.  There was a tall man - a really tall one.  Actually I am not a short one (164cm), but ... my height only reach his arm pit so you can imagine how tall that guy is.

Oh my god~  Just finished 3 episodes of "The L Words".  The scripts talked about how to tell from the appearance of a girl whether she is a lesbian:

Wearing long or short finger nails?  Are they polished?  (I can only remember these 2).  Oh~  I have rather short finger nails and I hate polishing them.  I don't wear make up and I like guys' clothes (more comfortable).  Does it mean that I'm a "potential" lesbian?

Another funny thing about the drama is that the girls have a chart showing who has slept with who.  the network is huge and ... it's a small world after all.

Added on May 7:  Suddnely realized that in the drama, except Jenny has a boyfriend / fiance / divorced husband and Bette has a father, there is no other male role in the drama ...
