昨晚天文台已掛起了8號風球，到今早起來還未除下，而且預計中午前會掛3號，所以有半天假期。我們的青島、濟南5天團可成行，於星期日出發，聽說這團只有10個人，也是第一次參加這麼少團員的旅行團。寄望天氣不要太熱好了。

這幾個星期還是忙於在7月中遞交的功課，也因為下星期去了幾天旅行，便須要加緊步伐。近排股市沒甚起色，令我的公積金也未有很大的進脹，下月轉變投資到外幣，希望有不錯的回報吧。上星期與一位大學同事午膳，知道她最近又再入市買樓。因為她現在的租住地方的業主打算賣樓，要求她遷出，她見到樓價已有些兒回落，所以以稍低的價錢買了一個同屋苑的同面積單位。真佩服她的再戰精神。當數年前她買了一層將軍澳樓宇的時候，因為供樓而時常節衣縮食，及後樓價有所調升，就賣掉離場，使生活質數回升。現在又在混回樓市內，況且年紀不輕的她要背負樓債到退休，所以真要佩服她的膽色呢。

Typhoon signal no.8 was hang up yesterday night and throughout this morning. So, we have half-day 'holiday' and back to office this afternoon when the typhoon signal no.3 would be hang up before noon.  After the tea reception by the travel agent, the Tsingtao-Jingnan 5-day tour would be successfully launched coming Sunday. There were 10 persons (including 6 of us) in the whole team. This also was the trip which we joined containing least people. Just hope the weather will be fine and not so hot.

I am busy these few weeks to finish the last assignment.  Because of out of town for days, I should be catch up the steps to move fast to the completion.  There is not very active at the share market of HK, so that my there was not much to contribute to my superannuation.  I then transfer the investment to the foreign currency instead and hope to have good return.  I have had lunch with a university colleague last week, noted that she has made instalments to a flat recently. I was so admire her as she was so brave to make 'purchase' on buildings/flats.  Remember a few years ago, when she had made instalments on a flat in Tseung Kwan O, she was so poor and had to save much from her living for the instalments.  She then sold the flat and rent another one in Shatin which she pays less.  Now, when she is upgrading her living standards, she got the debts again from the bank to purchase the new flat in the existing estate.   I really admire her bravery because she has to pay the instalments until her retirement!

今天天氣很好，十分皓熱。下午出外用膳時看見飯堂隔鄰的泳池被太陽照射得特別蔚藍剌眼， 敞大的泳池只有幾個人在游泳，有點現在就跳下去的衝動。

放工後是教職員網球比賽的第二場賽事(也是季軍賽)，因為我的拍擋要到8時才可到達，只好練習一吓發球及底線對打。上星期輸了第一場，尤幸這場的對手技術稍遜，也可穩定地勝出，只是拿了季軍。

Today is very hot, weather is good and shinny brightly.  I passed by the swimming pool which was located besides the canteen.  The sun shines on the pool making its colour very blue and sharp.  There was only 6 people in the pool.  I have an impulse to jump into the pool.

The 2nd round of the tennis match was continuous going on after work.  Because I lost in the 1st match, this is also the match to achieve  the 2nd-runners up. As my partner can only arrive after 8:00 pm, I did the practices on serve and ground strokes before the match.  This time, the opponents are not in good skills, so we beat them without any difficulties and got the 2nd-runners up trophy.

今天終於停下雨來，見未到家久未露面的太陽伯伯了。改期兩次的網球賽亦可進行，雖然這個時候球場並未有陽光照射，但係球場上的熱氣反射到身上，很快令我就滿面通紅，加上一輪熱身後，仍覺得未進入準備比賽的階段。賽事6時開始，只好頂硬上。對方的球員發了幾次很刁鑽的球，招架不住，很快就敗了賽事。其實只是抱著玩票的心態作賽，大家參予切磋，得失贏輸都不太計較。我的拍擋還說我的網球賽技術比羽毛球技術還好，而且今天只打了一場，還有一場在下星期一，或者可逆轉劣勢也不定。

The rain stop from yesterday and I can meet the sun..  The postponed tennis match can be taken place today.  Although the court was not shine, it still very hot by reflection of the light.  I was in a hot stauts after 15 minutes warm up.  But sill not in the siutation at all.  The match started at 6:00 pm.  The opponents served the A's a few times and I can't return well.  We lost the game in a short time.  Actually, this is the first match and I was not so serious to it so I did not concern whether I win or lose.  My partner said my tennis skill is better than my badminton skill.  I hope I can perform better by next match on next Monday.
