我們中大這兩天已開始很多脤災的籌款活動，我們工程學大樓的教授們亦都很熱心，各部門都奮力支持行動，所以接受善款及支票紀錄等就成為了我們工作的一部份。接連多天新聞報導當地的情況，實在令人慘不忍睹，很多中國人民失去家園的同時亦失去家人，境況可憐。現已知道其他國家亦已抻出援手，加入拯救及供應物資。祈望各界人士盡力捐助出手幫助，希望我們所盡的力量可以對他們重建家園有些幫助。

今晚曦曦會完成五天東京之旅回來 ，這幾天她們都不時透過手提傳送一些相片給我，直擊報告她們到達的地方及玩樂行程。所知的是當然曦曦是最開心那個，而且還買了很多東西，大家都應是滿載而歸吧。

今日午飯時遇到陳志明體育導師，邀請我參加由他作統籌下星期六舉行的四拍賽，四拍賽是指網球、羽毛球、乒乓球、壁球。其實我對壁球是最不曉，只打過吓，我本想推卻，但經不起CM的誠意，不知體力是否可以應付比賽呢？

Our University has started the raising fund campaign for the diseaste of Szechuan after the huge earthquake.  Most of our engineering professors are very keen and enthuasiatic to support the campaign. We are now alos busy on the receiving the money or cheques and the procedures of handling.  Along these few days, the news reporter make many reports on the scene of Szechuan and the rescue activities.  Unfortunately, they are so poor not only losing their home but also the children as well as their families.  Luckily, some strong countries extend their help by giving the food, goods and materials.  I wish other countries and people also join the helping activities so as to give the chance for Szechuan residents to build up their home soonest.

Tonight, Hei hei will be back to HK after a 5-day Tokyo tour.  During these days , he MMS me photos when he was on the journey. So I knew he was really happy and bought quite a lot of things. I think each of their luggages are fully loaded.

I met CM at the lunch place and was invited to join the Rackethlon coming Saturday. The Rackethlon is a match playing with four racket games, i.e. badminton, squash, tennis and table-tennis.  I have not familier with Squash (have played a few times only). Because of CM's sincere intention, I accept the invitation. But I don't know if I can cope with the match!?

今天辦公室各人桌上均換了一部22吋的電腦顯示屏，對我來說是一個巨無霸置於桌面。因為本來我用來擺放電腦的地方是很淺的，只有20cm深，放了這個mon之後就同我的視線有很短的距離，感覺有點刺眼。 而且16:9的關係，須要將頭頸及視線向兩邊稍作移動，所以只好盡量將之向後移，將距離拉遠好了。今天是波士的最後一天假期，趁著工作仍未回復忙碌的時間，又要繼續埋首我那繁複的功課了。

We, our office staff, changed the new computer monitor today.  The monitor is 22 inches in size.  That is really a huge thing on my desk. My computer desk is 20 inches in depth so this distance between me and the monitor is less than 12 inches.  Also, the brightness is high enough because of the size. Because of the 16:9 and the closed distance,  I have to move my neck for two sides to watch the whole screen.   The only method I can do is the minimize the distance by moving the monitor as far as it does.

Boss will be back to office tomorrow after the long holiday. And I of course, continue for my complicated assignment today and back to busy days tomorrow.

昨天是母親節，我的母親很早已經安排了節目比自己，已於前天往大陸旅遊了。而我就約了曦曦一同午飯。到達餐廳見面的一刻，他拿著一枝康乃馨跑過來迎接及對我說了一句：「契媽，母親節快樂！」，還送上一個吻。當然這句說話是曦曦媽教他的 ，但我已經感到很開心及滿足了。飯後本想購買嬰兒車給曦曦，驚覺原來曦曦已長高大了，難以找到一架適合他的。也只好回家執拾行李明天去東京旅行。

今天的節目是踏單車。天氣很好，正想趁著早上的陽光不太猛烈的時候出發，可是出租單車的地方濟滿人，等了半個多小時才可租了單車，單車路上是多了很多人在流動。我們踏到科學園停留下來午膳，之後直往大埔方向進發。回程的時候我們發現科學園第二期開了一個food court，環境清幽，有四個不同地方美食及落地大玻璃窗向著一個長長的水池，而水池是個音樂噴泉，相信晚間一定很好看。還有一個大大的金蛋不知是什麼高科技建設。回家後發覺兩隻手臂已晒得似是紅紅的豬手呢。

Yesterday was Mother's Day.  However, my mother has gone to China travelling for two days.  So, I have had lunch with Hei hei.  When he met me in the restaurant, he ran to me and said:"Kai Ma, Happy Mother's Day!", and gave me a kiss as well.  Although I noted that this is what Annie taught him, I was really happy and to be contented.  After the lunch, we gonna to buy a baby carriage for Hei, but found that he's taller and can't find a suitable one. So, give up the purchase and they back home to pack for the Tokyo trip starting next day.

Today is the Buddist holiday, we ride the bicycle.  The weather was so bright and shinny. After the breakfast at 11:00 am, we went to the bicycle rental store and found that there were many people.  We queued up for more than half hour to rent a bicycle.  Of course, there were many bicycle riders on the road.  We arrived at Science Park and stayed for lunch, then riding to the Tai Po direction.  During return trip, we discovered that there was a newly-opened food court in the 2nd stage of science park.  The scenary of the food court was better than that of 1st stage. There were 4 different styles of food and all the seats are facing the whole side window and the long pool.  That is a musical pool.  I guess it would be very beautiful during night time. Also, we found there was a golden egg built besides the food court.  I don't know what this egg is but believe that is high technology development.   After back home, I found my two arms were burn like pig arms.
